A camp designed for adult string beginning and intermediate players, this program combines a variety of learning topics and playing opportunities into one event! The program has two tracks to consider multiple skill-levels (see below). The weekend includes technical skill work on the instrument, musical topic sessions, music theory basics and review, and jam session reading.
9:30am-4pm Early Beginner (within the first few months-1 year) Beginner players attend the introduction course and can be exempt from (or participate as an observer) in other classes beyond their level. Music reading ability or fluency is not required. Players must bring their own instrument.
10:30am-4pm Late Beginner-Intermediate (1-2 years+) Participants are fully immersed in all elements of the program. Players must bring their own instrument. It is highly recommended to have music-reading skills to get the most out of this program.
