Community and Accessibility Working Group

Meeting throughout the year and with rotating membership, Levine’s Community and Accessibility Working Group monitors our work, creates best practices, and encourages transparency in the continual integration of Levine’s core values throughout our campuses and programs. The Working Group also formed project groups focusing on curriculum, information gathering, communications, tuition assistance, and access.

Project Groups

In addition to our full Working Group, four project groups meet regularly to discuss topics relating to specific elements of Levine’s community.

Learn more about each of our Working Group Project Groups below.

Communications Project Group

Made up of representatives from Levine’s Board of Trustees, faculty, and staff, the Communications Project Group advises on best practices regarding marketing and institutional communications to ensure Levine’s external and internal efforts remain accessible and reflect the communities we serve.

Curriculum and Programming Project Group

The Curriculum Project Group explores Levine’s educational and performance programs to cultivate an exceptional and well-rounded artistic experience for our students and families. Through careful examination of current repertoire and curricular materials, the Project Group ensures a safe and informed learning space, considering the multi-genre musical interests of our student body and community.

Feedback and Information Gathering Project Group

The Feedback and Information Gathering Project Group gathers regular input and feedback from Levine’s stakeholders. Their goal is to assess how effectively Levine achieves its goals as a workplace, service provider, and organization. Through surveys, focus groups, and listening sessions, the Project Group works to ensure the Community and Accessibility Working Group’s discussions and projects continually reflect input from the communities we serve.

Tuition Assistance and Access Project Group

The Tuition Assistance Project Group focuses on enhancing Levine’s tuition assistance programs, amplifying performance opportunities for tuition-assisted students, and exploring opportunities to support our students and lower barriers to musical study beyond our traditional tuition assistance program. Through collaborative efforts and strategic planning, the Project Group cultivates an environment where everyone feels valued, supported, and empowered to thrive regardless of background or circumstance.
