Music Therapy

Education

Wendy received her BA in Creative Studies from the University of Massachusetts Amherst before earning her Master’s in Music Education from the University of Florida. She also previously attended Oberlin Conservatory and completed a Music Therapy Equivalency Program at Washington Adventist University. She is a member of the National Organization of Arts in Health.

As an Artist & Therapist

Wendy worked for several years as a musician in residence at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center, where she provided interactive bedside music sessions and drum circles for pediatric patients. Wendy is a composer and music director for ArtStream, co-creating musicals with adults with developmental disabilities. She has provided educational programming through several agencies, including Washington Performing Arts, the Folklore Society of Greater Washington, Carpe Diem Arts, and Arts For The Aging. Wendy is the author of Interactive Music in Pediatrics: A Handbook for Music Practitioners.

At Levine

Wendy joined Levine’s Music Therapy team in 2024 and has also taught as part of our Camp Levine summer faculty.

I meet our clients where they are, with a client-led approach, and work to facilitate their growth and development in many goal areas.
