Merit Programs
Enrich your musical development at Levine and gain inspiration through a community of like-minded students. Levine’s Merit Programs provide opportunities for all students for a comprehensive music education and builds a solid foundation for advanced music study.
Honors Program
The Honors Program at Levine is a merit-based program designed to enrich the musical development of Levine’s exceptionally gifted students by providing opportunities for them to enhance their musical education, gain inspiration through association with a community of like-minded students, and represent Levine as ambassadors of excellence. Merit program students must be enrolled in weekly private lessons with a teacher at Levine. Students admitted to the program participate in a variety of activities and receive scholarship funds applied towards their tuition.

Rising Stars
The Rising Stars program at Levine is a merit-based program designed for dedicated students ages 9-15 who intend to prepare for the Honors Program. Accepted students participate in events designed to help them develop a strong commitment to their musical studies, and to prepare to successfully apply to the Honors Program in the coming year(s).
President’s List
The President’s List is an enrichment program designed for students of all ages and abilities enrolled in private instruction at Levine. Students in traditional and Suzuki lesson are eligible to participate. This program is designed to help students develop into fine, well rounded and successful musicians and provide, with your teacher’s help and guidance, a goal to work towards for each semester.
The President’s List requirements are both effort and merit-based. Requirments include a list of activities such as: practice, listening, taking a jury, theory/enrichment class, concert attendance, performance, reading enrichment and a volunteer activity.

Camp Levine was recognized in 2019, 2020, and 2021 by Washington City Paper’s annual “Best of D.C.” publication as one of the “Best Summer Camps in D.C.”, winning the title of #1 Summer Camp in 2021!
