Private Lessons
Experience customized one-on-one instruction with one of Levine’s talented faculty members.
Levine offers music composition through private lessons and group study. Composition promotes individual creativity within the context of a musical community.
Each year, the Composition Department presents several events, including Composition Weekend in April, which includes a concert and master class by visiting professional artists. These events have been awarded funding by New Music USA (2017), the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities (2012), the Randy Hostetler Living Room Music Fund (since 2010), and the ASCAP Foundation (since 2011).
For more information, contact the Composition Department Chair, Evan Meier, at (202) 686-8000 x1598 or emeier@levinemusic.org.
