Levine Orchestra Retreat, Session I

Level: Suzuki Book 1-2 or equivalent, experience with 1 octave scales, beginning fluency in note reading and rhythm.

Our Orchestra Retreat is a fun and engaging summer program open to current THEARC Orchestra members as well as those interested in a summer orchestral experience. Each meeting will focus on performance and the development of ensemble skills. There will be significant emphasis on the development of individual techniques relating to our instruments (violin, viola, cello, bass). In addition to full ensemble coaching, we’ll work with Levine faculty on different daily topics. The final day of the retreat will culminates in a pizza party celebrating the wonderful achievements we each made.
